My daughter has been in Busy Bumbles for two school terms now and a holiday programme. It has been the best decision that I could of ever made for her after school and holiday care.
I had a choice of two afterschool programmes, I did some research, spoke with Rebecca whom I had an instant like to – her vibrant personality and energy and her passion for Busy Bumbles was just great. (and that was over the phone) When I met Rebecca in person I never had a doubt re the quality of care my daughter would receive. Really gave me a nice warm fuzzy feel. I think I was more excited about the prospect of Busy Bumbles than my daughter was at first.
The programme they offer for the children is amazing! Such a variety of things to do and the interaction with the staff is so personal and one on one. They really care about the children at the centre and spend great quality time with them playing and teaching them new things. I don’t know where Rebecca comes up with all the fantastic ideas on what to do each week for the kids as they never seem to do anything twice. All the children seem to get involved and love it!
They offer reward incentives for the children and encourage nice manners and respect to the other children in the programme, all of which we expect in our own homes and this also I find just reiterates to the children of what is acceptable and not acceptable behavior.
The staff are fantastic and friendly and always open to suggestions, happy to answer any questions you may have. Really make you feel like you are part of the Busy Bumbles Family. It’s quite special really.
When I collect my daughter at the end of the day, I am greeted with a huge smile and you hear the laughter and happy noises from the playground or classroom and see the smiles on all the other children’s faces. It’s just awesome and the slight feeling of guilt from being a working Mum soon disappears because I know may daughter is so happy at Busy Bumbles, and is well looked after and loves it!
