Stimulating and Loads of Fun!
BBs takes pride in offering a stimulating and fun filled Holiday Programme that caters for the needs, interest and abilities of all primary aged children. We provide age appropriate activities and resources that will allow your child to learn and grow while having loads of fun! In-depth planning and organising for each day is done well in advance. This planning is extremely detailed and ensures that children of all ages will always have a brilliant day at BBs Holiday Programme. You are welcome to view our planning any time. Last holidays the children wanted to stay all day every day!
All primary school aged children are welcome at ANY venue for our Holiday Programmes....you do not need to enrol at the venue at which your child attends school.
Numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note that payment is required before the programme commences to secure a place in our Holiday Programmes (except Waitaha). Payment is required at the time of booking for bookings that are made during the programme.
January 2025 Holiday Programme Information
We are operating our fun-filled Janaury 2025 Holiday programme from 7am on the date shown below until 6pm the day before school commences for the year:
- Monday 6th January - West Rolleston, Lemonwood Grove and Fairfield
- Monday 13th January - Clearview, Prebbleton, Russley and Te Matauru

Waitaha Holiday Programme Information
Our wonderful Christmas Fun 2024 and Summer Fun 2025 Holiday Programmes will operate at Waitaha School from 9am-3pm on each of the following days:

* Te Rōhutu Whio School is holding kanohi ke te kanohi conferences during the school day on Wed 29 Jan and Thurs 30 Jan

- Note: BB's is closed for the Easter public holidays which fall within this period, also closed for ANZAC Day Fri 25 April

Term 3 2025: Monday 14 July - Friday 19 September
Term 3 Holiday Programme: Monday 22 September - Friday 3 October
Term 4 2025: Monday 6 October - Mid-December TBC
Please double check your school's website for the confirmed finish date and time, as this is subject to change.
Our Early Finish programmes will operate at a number of schools that close at lunchtime on the last day of school.
Christmas Programme: BB's will be open for our Christmas Holiday Programme from the end of school until likely 6pm, Friday 19 December, at our Holiday Programme venues, as listed above.
January 2026 Programme: BB's will likely be open for our January 2026 Holiday Programme from 7am, Monday 5th January at selected venues and from 7am, Monday 12th January at our other holiday programme venues. The programme will run through until 6pm the day before school starts for 2026.
Other Holiday Programmes
Busy Bumbles also offers one-day Holiday Programmes, to cater for families who require care on days within the school terms which are not public holidays however the school is not open for instruction. Examples of these days include:
Easter Tuesday - The day after Easter Monday, which is not a public hoiday but which schools are closed. Note: Easter Tuesday falls on Tuesday 22nd April in 2025 (falls within the Term 1 HP).
Teacher Only Days - These vary from school to school and will be advised in school communications.
