Busy Bumbles is a quality award winning After School Care provider. Busy Bumbles takes pride in being able to provide quality care for children and does so by employing staff of a high calibre who show a real passion for working with children.

Hours
Staff need to be available for work 7:00am – 8.45am and 2:45pm – 6pm during Term time and full time during school holidays 7:00am – 6:00pm. The hours of your shift will depend on number of children and shifts available.
If this job is right for you, you will:

- · Have the confidence to manage behaviour problems
- · Be honest, punctual and reliable
- · Speak fluent English
- · Have a background in education and/or have contributed to the educational development of your own children and/or can show us how your enthusiasm for education supports the programme we offer, and/or you are currently studying education
- · Consider good communication as a priority
Some general duties will be as follows:
- · Call attendance roll and follow up on absent children
- · Lead the group in team games, ensuring fair play and good sportsmanship
- · Manage behaviour using positive reinforcement
- · Homework supervision with small groups
- · Communicate with parents/caregivers as needed
- · Supervise outdoor play and games
- · Ensure Busy Bumbles is a caring, happy and positive environment for the children
- · Ensure the well-being of each child in the programme and address any issues appropriately as they arise
- · Communicate with the Supervisor and /or business management, as required.
